Security has been a top priority at Pelm since day one. We’re committed to protecting the data of our customers, their customers, and our employees. Here are the steps we take to ensure your data is safe with us.
When a user connect’s their utility account, we securely encrypt their password using Advanced Encryption Standard (AES 256). Passwords are always encrypted in transit and at rest. They are never viewed in plaintext under any circumstances.
Our infrastructure only allows communication via HTTPS, a communication protocol that utilizes TLS to securely encrypt data in transit. This means that data is protected end-to-end when it is sent to our servers.
We’re hosted on industry-leading cloud infrastructure that implements the highest level of security. Data are encrypted in transit and at rest, with compliance like ISO/IEC 27001/27017/27018/27701, SOC 1/2/3, PCI DSS, VPAT (WCAG, U.S. Section 508, EN 301 549) and FedRAMP certifications, and alignment with HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA.
